Poor baby…that has to be so hard being so young dealing with this. She’s so strong may God bless her and watch over her.

It is so frustrating when the adhesive that usually has to be soaked in medical adhesive remover and still won’t come off easily, fails in the shower.

Cannot imagine how worried you get, you are diligent so don't worry as far as I can tell you absolutely think of everything.😊

Ive had diabetes since half three, and gotten used to changing them<3 its sometimes rlly painful and frustrating!
Tip: change the omnipod AFTER the shower, else it can peel off since its not that well on yet!
Blessing to you and this young fighter!❤

So sad that she has to have all those needle 💉marks on her little body 😥😥😥, but she always has mom and dad by her side. I hope she will be ok and knows what to do when she goes to school.

I feel like crying when I see her red marks. Poor sweet girl. It sucks when children get diseases like diabetes real young.

For us we always do a shower at pump change time! Makes life a little easier. We use tslim. Usually if it looks loose, but site still in I try to get the adhesive nice and dry and put a patch on! Mine is 6 now almost 7. Diagnosed at 3. They are little troopers, it's nice when we can do a change while asleep.

A similar thing happened to me when I was undergoing treatment for cancer. I had a pod that would attach to my arm, and 24 hours after they would place the pod on my arm, it would give me the medicine. One time, the plunger came out of me, and it leaked onto my arm.

I have tears in my eyes whenever I see this because I’m going through it every day. I am using something smaller than this, but that needle poke attached to the sensor really hurts when it hits your skin specially when it moved or when it come off like that it’s very very painful. I could only imagine her pain. I wish I could just take it away from her, My tears are falling as I watched this.

The adhesive loosens up when water touches it. When you put it on wait 15 hours

Because I do sweat badly when doing physical activity, I use a medical adhesive called Skin Tac, available on Amazon, I also use an over patch that goes on after I insert my Omnipod.
I can no longer do garage doors due to an arm injury, but when I was working the over patch and the adhesive helped tremendously.
