I just got diagnosed like 1 month ago and I’m able to have the pump now so from hearing this I think I’m gonna choose mobi it has all of my expectations

I would be interested in knowing if this model is less likely to get occluded as I had constant occlusions with the T-Slim

I'm T1 for 53 of my 63 years. Been pumping with various pumps for over 35 years. Loved Tandem as I had really good control with both of their tubed pumps. Went to the Omnipod Dash via iAPS looping, then to the Omnipod 5 (hated it with it's non aggressive algorithm) then back to the Dash when the iOS code became available. Been DIY Looping for a number of years now and really can't see going back to any kind of tubed pump. i would be interested in a Tandem tubeless pump when that gets released but until then I'll continue to build my own, pun intended.

Changed from Medtronic’s to Tandem about 18 months back. Main reason was tandems use of a color touch screen and the integration of a CGM. Really love these features. Unfortunately Tandem and I got off to a rocky start when my initial pump failed to allow me to load a cartridge. Replacement pump was a rebuilt unit. In 18 months I have had three pump failures. I still enjoy my tandem pump and have no current plans to replace it. The Mobi seems a viable replacement when it’s time to replace my current pump in a few years. Thanks for the information.

Medtronic was my first and only pump until recently when I got a Tandem. That alone was an improvement in size. Choice driven by the integrated sensor. Mobi looks interesting although I’m still mesmerized by the beautiful Tandem screen. I’d be interested in more Mobi videos when its use spreads in the insulin pump market and there’s user feedback.
Thank you for this video.

Thanks for another great video Justin! This reminds me of an insulin pump that is available in the Netherlands called Kaleido. I find the Kaleido one interesting because it comes in different colours 😄

I just got mine and I definitely recommend it if you have had the screen t-slim before. Its might be more confusing for new pump user but out of all of it i love it a lot!

I did have the tslim. I now use omnipod. Why? Omnipod is available through pharmacy benefit, whereas tslim is durable medical equipment only. It is so much easier and less hassle to get coverage. It was an hour long call with insurance company and medical supplier every time I got supplies for tslim, and even after all the calls and hassle, insurance still stiffed me for $1200 and refused to pay. I love all the modern tech available, but our healthcare system in this country is embarrassingly bad. There are too many players with hands in the pot, and none of them want to live up to their obligations.

Started out with a minimed pump. I used their sensor when they first came out and they didn’t work good. So then I switched to the tandem with the Dexcom g6.
Best thing I ever did, I love it. My last A1c was 6.2 .
Interested to see how people like the mobi.?

Been on it for 2 weeks. Love it. Like it better than T:slim and O5.

Thank you for this updated information! My questions/concerns: (1) Is the Dexcom G6/G7 pairing with the Mobi, or only with the phone? There are times working in the yard where I intentionally do not have phone with me, - this is not a problem with the TSlim x2 since it still interfaces with the Dexcom and manages your bG. (2) Multiple online comments mention the G7 losing signal with phone (more so than the G6 that I have) in which case the pump won't respond to your glucose level, so unless Mobi pairs with sensor I don't see an advantage with smaller size. (3) I'm not sold with an on-body pump at this point, given potential challenges with adhesive coming loose in summer heat, or getting ripped off accidentally by catching on clothing or something (it is significantly bigger than sensor or insertion set). Thanks again, even if this convinces me it isn't for me.

I'm a current Omnipod 5 user, and I would definitely be interested in switching to this device. The tubeless is great, and is all I have ever used since being diagnosed T1 as an adult in 2020. What I don't like about the Omnipod 5 though is the automated algorithm. It doesn't seem to work well for me; I don't seem to get enough insulin. So I tend to use Manual mode all day long, and just switch to Automated at bedtime. I never wanted a tubed pump because of the long cord, but could definitely see myself using one with this shorter tube, and the ability to attach the pump to my body (since I'm already doing that with the O5). First time watching your channel, great video, thanks for the information.

my main concern with the Mobi is that it relies on the mobile App, which always loses connection. Too many interrupted boluses b/c it's out of range, even when my daughter is sitting right next to the iPhone.

Definitely happy about Mobi with 5 in tube versus 23 inches

I absolutely love my Tandem Tslim but really am excited about the mobi. My warranty will be up in two years and I imagine it will be approved for me. ❤

Interesting development. I still plan to stick with Omnipod though. Mainly because it works with DIY Loop (which works well for me) and because Omnipod is so simple. This new device looks like it still is going to have multiple parts/pieces, and I really love the Omnipod's all-in-one simplicity. Makes travel especially very easy.

No on-device controls is super sus. What if my phone is dead or I have to disconnect Bluetooth? Remember that you can’t update the app until the FDA clears each app update or your stuff shuts down? I’m sticking to the basic X2.

What kind of device is the one on your background ?
Looks like sugar pixel but it’s different
Thank you
