Making a Mallet

I got angry once. Found a nail in a bowl I was turning. That nail turned into a spike. That spike destroyed an axe, chisel, and two mallets in the effort to extract it. Could have been that... I got angry at that "nail". So I need to make a new mallet.

Great video. I just picked up some hard wood logs (walnut?) that the utility company took down for such a project ... although I’ll have to precut it oversized and let it dry out for some time first.
