Learn how to implement the new Revit importer into your SketchUp workflow!

Personally, I never understand the comparison between Revit & SketchUp, as I use them for different things. SketchUp for my concepts and renders, Revit for my technical work and production drawings.

The new SketchUp Studio 2023 introduces a dedicated Revit importer that's now MUCH faster and slicker than the old way of exporting & importing DWG files.

This video walks you through how I use the new importer in my day-to-day work and showcases a recent set of visuals I've created utilising this workflow.

Hope you enjoy the video, and let me know your thoughts on this workflow in the comments below. Be nice :)

Nice work! Interested to hear more on this subject. Particularly how you update changes between revit & SU models.

In case you change the plan in Revit, is there any way to reload the model? Otherwise you will have to redo the material again

Just curious but 1 staircase is sufficient for an apartment over where you’re from?

Coming from the point of view in terms of building codes and fire codes
