Revit and SketchUp for Conceptual Design

In this Video I will be comparing Revit against SketchUp in fairground
The point of this video is to show that you can work in the same way with Revit as you do in SketchUp
And the tip is that Revit has this feature that is often forgotten that is “Make surface from closed loops”...

My following videos will address these questions:
What practices are done better in which software?
When do we swap between one and the other?
Should we swap or do everything in the same software?
Can we have 2 teams working in both in the same project at the same time?

So if you are interested in the topic please subscribe and comment below if you have any questions or if you’d like to help me tune better what I will be talking about in the coming weeks.

it's so much nicer working in perspective (SKP) than clunky looking orthogonal (REVIT). Also materials assignment in Sketchup beat revit hands down.

Can you do a tutorial of modelling houses on revit at a slower speed where a beginner like myself can follow?

I think is that Archicad is way better in free form modeling then revit ofcourse beside it's great history as the king of BIM software .

Revit best for BIM.. SKETCHUP BEST FOR MODELING ... dont compare revit and sketchup .. i think very easy modeling sketchup .. revit is very time used for model.. some family creation go too much time .. sketchup doing that very easy.. so bim poor is sketchup ...
