A thing that can give batch programs life and make rendering a menu easy is to use ansi escape sequences.

like the menu but when I was doing it I tried to use a font that makes the !'s into pipes (this is a pipe | ) can't use actual pipes due to how command prompt handles them great video though

I began to make a text game with batch files for DOS/the DOSBOX emulator, but not for CMD.exe. The batch files use the external debug command to create new executable files, the choice.exe external command to make menus and SBplay.exe to play wav sound files. The game can display tiny pictures on the text screen.

My greatest probleme is to get some new monochrome pictures(with 112x112 pixel and 2 colors) and some new sound files. Personaly i have only a touch screen and thick finger, so it is impossible to draw a picture with paint online for example.
