I have enjoyed learning so much about Russia from your channel! I work in a hospital here in the USA, and I currently have a very sick patient who is from Yakutsk, and speaks very little English. I was able to discuss all of the things I’ve been learning about her home in Russia, and it made her so happy! I could tell it meant a lot to her to feel connected to home. I showed her your channel and she is grateful to you for spreading good information about Russia. Much love ❤️

I live in Nairobi, Kenya. It never gets cold to the point of experiencing winter. I've never seen snow in my 23 years. Its warm throughout most of the year. One day, I'd love to travel and experience.

If the freezer is warmer than the air, you know you're in a cold place.

I’m drinking a cup of hot tea to warm up just from watching you guys. I live in Yellowknife Canada which is at the same latitude as Yakutsk, and we regularly drop into -40C. This place is on a whole other level though, crazy.

These are some tough, resilient people. And the “walruses” are absolutely badass. I’m from Sweden but I have Russian heritage and I love your videos, one day I hope to visit these amazing places and see the country my grandparents came from.

Wonderful video. Given the current geopolitical reality between the West and Russia it is crucial for content creators like Eli to maintain a voice. People are not their governments, and these videos showcase the greatness of Russian culture and peoples. Thank you, Eli, keep it up.

I like how mature and kind she is and how she finds every small detail interesting. I also like the fact that she travels in order to find out about other cultures and not in order to act as an influencer. The questions she asks are spot on and she doesn't only chit chat. Way to go girl! Please visit as many Russian cities as you can.

I sure did love this video of your trip to Yakutia!!! I lived in UlanUde and Irkutsk for 2 years. I experienced -40 degrees below zero. I cross country skied several hours in -20 to -30 out to my friends Dache with Banya. No water to dunk in after banya but many evergreen 🌲 trees to grab and shake as the snow falls on you. So refreshing and cold. Then quickly back in the warm steam room. Blessings to you and the wonderful people in Yakutia!!! Would love to go there some day!!! Thank you Eli! BYW I have a grandson named Eli!! Stay warm and keep traveling!!!

I am from India and in summers the temperature easily goes above 45°. I cannot imagine -35°, but this video is helping me to imagine. Anyway the last words of video were truly truly inspiring. In our ancient Indian philosophy there is word called Vasudhaiv kutumbakam, Which means the entire world is family. Thanks for such wonderful videos. Love from India.❤️

Даже мне жителю России было интересно посмотреть. Узнала много интересного. 🙏 спасибо за такие классные видео о регионах России для иностранцев. И это также может быть полезно для школьников, которые изучают англ. Они могут использовать это как учебный материал 😊
