Another nice indie game I didn't know Although it's a fishing game I wasn't expecting Fauna to be the fisher dad in charge or so much net hate "I don't care about your relationship, I only care about fish" was definitely the highlight of my day

Just a small QoL, fish too much and less fish will spawn, personally i fish until the stock is low and leave it 1-2 days pass they restock to medium or high but once you venture out you’ll forget to fish them anyway so, yeah

Edit: MORE QOL remember you have Haste use it specially during day and specially when being chased, also TRUST YOUR CONTROLLER using controller in this game is OP because of the vibrations it serves as warning on whats coming also use your hearing too I know its scary but it gives the thrill of playing this game personally.

Edit 2: MORE QOL remembering the places you can dock your boat is a LIFESAVER every dock is a safe haven even if its not marked in the map, once you reel your boat at a dock anything chasing you will just swim away.

I just got this game and I love it, but I have to ask if anyone has the same strange memory that I do. Years ago I read a tumbler post about a game idea that was basically this game. It went in detail about how you were a fisherman and how you'd pull up more and more mutated eldritch fish, and how there'd be bigger monsters you'd have to evade, and there'd be other people you could help or not. Obviously there are differences, the post idea being all on a large lake is one, but when I saw this game I felt like it was that post realized. I doubt they have any actual connection but still, has anyone else seen that post?

Aw jeez, another game straight to my wishlist thanks to Fauna... wishin' I was fishin'. Somehow even a slightly spooky fishing game is made comfy when Fauna's playing! I love the atmosphere of the game and it looks fun to sail around fishing! I think Netbert got slandered a little too hard, he's out there braving the waters all day just trying to bring in some fish for Fauna, poor guy doesn't deserve all the hate. Would be cool to see this one again!
P.S. I played the CouncilRyS RPG fan game yesterday and it was a lot of fun, I think you'd enjoy it even if you don't stream it! There's a lot of love in it.
