I still think the most genius element in dredge is the way, when your sanity is low, new rocks will show up in places you THOUGHT you knew well. Such a brilliant, charming bit of game design to make you feel like you're slowly going mad.

The angler's never worked on me in dredge, simply because my thought process was,
"Wait.. i thought i was the angler round here.." and then never trusted the boats again

As a person who has the game yes it’s scared me a LOT especially those Leviathan encounters. I had the worst of it when i literally went for a treasure chest in Stellar Basin and the bloody camera panning around at the EXACT MOMENT I saw it’s SPINE just heading towards my boat made me panic so badly though I wished I had that moment recorded for everyone to laugh at

I like that constant feeling of uncertainty and the shivers that run down your spine when the deep, eerie noises come from the darkness. And then it gets cozy again and you're suddenly sailing through your own fantasies, completely insane.

i played the whole game and didn´t get the Leviathan. But I remember in the centre hole when a giant tentacle scared the hell outta me while contemplating how amazing it looked at night, I screamed and left as soon as I could

The Leviathan Event. That one takes the cake. I do not mean it's sudden jaw attack and escape that you see in this video. There is an event, where it's entire body will wreathe around the surface. It is Dredges biggest enemy event. That was true panic.
