I feel like a useful garen guide is the one that shows pretty much at what level/situation you can just run down your opponent for a kill, for each matchup

Been playing Garen since S1 when he was released. He's been my absolute fav throughouy the years.

One thing I do wish people would cover in Garen guides is how Garen teaches you the game through the lense of game knowledge rather than mechanical outplay.

A lot of folks do guides on mechanically easy champs but don't take the time to explain how to use them effectively. But that's fine it's a guide after all, I know you have separate videos for top lane guides etc etc.

1 thing, if you look at some of the best Garen players you see that they buy attack speed. This works even better if you don't play in diamond because then people cant kite. Usually, I go ignite, trinity, as boots, phantom dancer and then something more tanky like dead-mans, deaths dance, or steraks. If I'm really ahead I build stormrazor second because it lets you dominate my opponent ways harder. This playstyle is good as long as your team doesn't scream for a tank. It's less of a tank role and more of a fighter role. You are not as tanky but your damage is insane. You still get a shield from phantom and later when you buy tanky items. So far this carried me from bronze to gold with some recently learned macro. My win rate is around 65%

Really good video, but I will have to disagree, Attack Speed does matter to garen. Not only does it boost damage by having more auto attacks, but also it increased his Spin damage, arguably his main damage dealer

Isnt it inefficient to build triforce AND black cleaver? Thats 2 phages / rage unique passives.

The phage passive doesn't stack though so why would you get both tri and black

I would say AS in small runes is very VERY important. We get 1 more spin for E per 25% AS. TF will give us 40% AS which means we are exactly 10% AS away from getting a second spin more. So getting these missing 10% AS from small runes is huge imo. Or do i see something wrong here?
