Just open up the fan with 3 screws and do It properly. In a laptop when you already opened it you should always change the paste

I got a G510 Lenovo didn't cleaned for longtime may be since buying it, not changing the battery too so nowadays it shows 0% battery even plugged in charge I decided to give it to a technical person so we opened the back board and it was just awful, does cleaning the fan and repairing some parts will affect my data ( note: I don't have any backups)
