My FAVORITE US Airlines? American vs Delta vs United

In 2018 I traveled on all 3 US Major carriers International Long haul flights. Let's have a detail look of the lounge, seating, food and beverage, service, sleeping amenities and ground experience on US Airlines international flight offering currently. I also compare the travel classes including American airlines business class vs United Polaris Business Class.

That attendant on American Airlines face fell flat when you said the food was bad. I was impressed with what you showed about United Airlines. I think I am going try flying with all three and experience it for myself. I have been flying with American for over a decade. Great video and keep it up.

I recently flew on Delta in economy from Minneapolis to Amsterdam. I found the flight to be really nice. The crew made me feel welcome and at home, the food was pretty good, and the seat wasn’t too bad.

On the way back to Minneapolis, I had a layover in Atlanta and flew on an A321 from ATL to MSP. The seat was comfy and that crew was very nice. I have a growth disorder and need medicine to grow, but the medicine needs to stay cold in order to work. My family has a little cooler to keep my medication cool but the cooler didn’t work as well as we thought. We asked a flight attendant if she would be able to keep it cold. She took the matter very seriously and did what we asked with much care. It made me feel that Delta really cares for their customers. That is why Delta is my favorite US carrier.

For me United is #1. Was my first flight to Asia in 1987. I love their route system (even now) and that they serve Guam, Saipan, Philippines, Federated States of Micronesia and Marshall Islands. Love that they go to India. Closest to Pan Am of the US majors in terms of route system. Love the Polaris product and the 777-300ER. Had a wonderful flight in Polaris BOM-EWR.

C'mon. Pick a favorite, Sam. I think you either enjoy United or Delta the most. You like United because of your history with them and their ground product at SFO. It seems like you really preferred Delta's inflight product. Delta has really good long haul crews out of DTW.

I personally prefer Delta, just because their business class/delta one service is always very good

United lounges are top of the line, especially the ones in SFO. I have actually met Wendy.

I've always preferred Delta over the years, but United has really stepped up their game when it comes to the lounge experience. Hoping it will translate to the onboard experience next time I fly.

EXCELLENT point about treating your flight attendants politely! It is much, much, easier to get great service when you are polite and welcoming. They’ll go above and beyond.

Delta looks to be the best, Also on economy class experiences i have heard from. I still think though that all US carriers in both economy, business and even first class are not comparable to the major Asians Airlines, which are much much better
