Summing up AA's first class service: "I expected nothing and I'm still let down!"

The fact that you can get into trouble for reviewing the airline, says everything you need to know about them lol

The $10K price should have been the first red flag for an 8 hour flight.

I just read an article about how AA flight attendants are fed up with trying to offer good service in the upper classes when they are so understaffed and the top execs are more concerned with budget than service.

Nice video. I would never spend 10.000 dollars for a flight that lasts 8 hours and I find it ridiculous that they charge for WiFi after you paid the price as above.

I'm a retired US Airways, now American, pilot. I would never want to fly any US carrier in First. It's so embarrassing that they represent themselves as such! I wish they would change, but I don't see it happening....sadly!

I just can't believe that anyone would actually spend $10, 000 on a flight no matter how rich they were. $10, 000 for a pair of pajamas, slippers, gross plastic wrapped food, a low class fight attendant, and plastic cups. I should start my own airline company

"If you have the choice, fly another airline." My experience with AA in a nutshell.

It's the champagne in plastic cups for me. I actually cannot believe it 🤧

Food like that just kills the whole experience. If they can't do First Class they shouldn't be selling it. Not surprising how businesses are using Covid as an excuse for their incompetence and lack of service.

Having lived in Asia for over 30 years I can catergoriclly state that flying any american airline is sub par by embarrasingly so... unfriendly interiors of the aircraft... poor and sometimes seriously unfriendly service by sometimes unkempt and downright dirty looking staff... to be avoided if possible... exiting the USA, I always get to an airportt and transfer to an Asian airline to fly trans pacific ... inconvenient but preferable.. I volubly laugh when I see that an american airline advertising that they are No 1 in the USA... means zero when it comes to the global markets...

I flew American airlines economy domestic, and it was absolutely amazing. I was super travel sick and the cabin crew looked after me so much

I've been flying AA for business for nearly 25 years. It has continued to get worse year after year. It all seemed to start to really fall off when the America West executives took over US Airways and then took over AA. It's a good airline that could be great but Doug and his executives are not focused on delivering a premier product. They are focused on being just good enough and getting customers from A to B safely. Catering is definitely an area where they just don't care. Dan, I do think the flight attendants were supposed to take off the plastic wrap prior to serving. As always, your video was spot on and well produced. Thank you!

I love a funny, witty, and charismatic flight attendant! Makes me relax more when flying. 😌

Guys, if you are flying though London, make sure you have enough time to take your connecting flights. The lines at Heaththrow airport are insane and will give you an anxiety attack. I haven’t been to Gatwick, so I can only assume it is the same because flying through UK it’s a total hassle these days. So take your precautions

I’m cabin crew for this airline. I had no idea that is how much customers spend on those flights.. if you knew how much we get paid you will be shocked.. not sure who’s pocket all this money goes to but it sure isn’t coming into the hard working cabin crews pockets that most likely has a second job just to get by. Sad.

I just flew in Air France's "La Première". Two worlds appart. 14 hours of ultimate luxury and pleasure (3 at the terminal and 11 flying). The food was marvellous. The china it was served on exquisite. The wine chart has no equivalent. Givenchy pijamas. The 1st class suite is amazing. It definitely is a 7 star hotel service (even with the chauffeur that takes you to the plane in an impecable luxury car).

That meal would be economy class standard on Singapore Airlines.

Ive flown economy my whole life as well and just a few weeks ago I was flying back to JFK from Dubai and upgraded to business class, I felt the same exact way. The seat was phenomenal and it was probably the most relaxing flight of my life

This was filmed back in 2021, so Flight Attendants had less to work with during covid restrictions. I agree! It was totally embarrassing, so it was written up by the crew. They finally brought back the real mugs and glassware. Flight Attendants are now back to serving pre-departure drinks again. I hope you do an updated video.
