How to Find and Solve Zebra Rock | The Secret of Shadow Ranch

In Nancy Drew: The Secret of Shadow Ranch, Nancy finds a note in the lamp after playing the tuning forks. The note says “Now go and peek beneath Zebra rock. But you’ll need a magnet what’s there to unlock.” Return to the ranch and enter the kitchen. Take the red apple magnet from the fridge and ride out to trail stop.

You’ll find zebra rock there to the left of the trail. Step up to it, but if you hear a rattlesnake, leave and come back later.

If the area is quiet and safe, lift the rock to find the door to a puzzle. Use your apple magnet to pick up the pieces behind the glass and drag them to their appropriate slots.

Here’s a great cheat-tip: back up from the puzzle and get close 5 times. The wooden bars covering the glass will disappear so that you can see the entire maze.

Drop the pieces in these spots:
MN – CU
SI – FE

(MN is upper left, CU is upper right. SI is lower left, FE is lower right.)

What does "leave and come back later" mean? Leaving the entire area or just that spot? I'm having really bad luck. I left and went to Mary's Gifts like 4 times and still the snake is there.
