I have a question. So I currently have my CDL A and I am a newly diagnosed Diabetic and my medical card expires in about three weeks. Will I be able to renew it by the if I show that I am taking my meds and watching my levels closely? I am taking Ozempic but only once I week to help with weight lose. My biggest worry right now is losing my job and the pay it brings.

I just got diagnosed with diabetes and I’ve never had low sugar until after I was diagnosed. I did everything I could to lower my a1c from 14.2 down to 10.2 in 4 weeks. My company said it wasn’t good enough. That I didn’t do enough and need to do more to get it lower.

Am I wrong in being pissed about this? I busted my butt trying to do whatever I could to get this a1c lower and it’s not good enough? I take my metformin, started going to the gym 4x a week, cut out ALL sugar and 99% of my carbs. I eat lettuce, carrots, and chicken breast, pan cooked without any oil or sauce of any kind. The only time I’ve had any sugar in the last 2 months is when my glucose dropped to 47, 59, 44, and 65. ( had to look the numbers up on my meter)

Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong? Why is it not good enough? Why won’t it drop faster before these “people” I work for fire me?

Honestly what is even the point of continuing at this point? Apparently according to the people I work for and a lot of others I’m just some defective lazy piece of trash… all because I enjoyed my soda?
