Such a sad reality that most people don't understand. The fence being built is to keep North Koreans from escaping not tokeep people out. Shocking that eating food harvested in the fields is illegal that may result in severe punishment. Border guards not only watch the border but people houses too. I’m so thankful my mom’s parents fled the North during the war. They did well for themselves in South Korea. My parents met and then moved to the US raising me here in this great country. I’m grateful to be an American. And I’ll never forget all the bullets my family dodged to get here.

Seeing how scared the women are to eat raw Daikon is such a contrast to watching their counterparts in the south gorging themselves during Mukbangs online. I hope one day the north can be free, and can be reunited with the south.
