I just wish there were thick versions, too - but ALL of these clear cases, both from EOE and everywhere else (probably all from the same factory), are always and only for the thin iPods.

Yeah they're definitely tight. I'm impressed you got them off just using your hands. Usually I need to use a thin blade or one of the sesame tools.

I like the scuffs and dings on my ipods. I think they bring character to them. Will purchase from you again if I feel like a new iPod is needed or a different type.

If you drop it on concrete it'll probably just pop out of the case anyway. A silicone or leather case might be a better choice depending on your personal use case.

Shoot, I got mine on, and noticed that some lint was on the screen, so i had to re-open it to get that clean and used a quarter on the notch on the lower right corner (like you would use on the old Griffin cases) and it just got chewed up...still works, just got a rough corner edge now.

I bought an ipod 5.5th gen from you a couple of years back and it's still not working properly. Was never recognized by any computer (and believe me i tried many pcs and macs from friends) click wheel with no sound and banged up in general. Spend more than 150$ but bc i was in Panama and not the precious USA, you basically disregarded my email. And i know for you 150 it's not much but for someone in latin america, it was. I saved up for months for it. But anyways i still got a faulty ipod that I'm trying to fix by myself. Hopefully now that I moved to Europe i get the parts i need easier

Ive got these cases on both my 7G and my 5.5G, they are tight but I have never had any issue with getting them on/off. Big thank you Austin for getting that 7G back to me so quickly with the battery replacement.

Mine fits perfectly. It does need the pry tool to release the iPod from the case though. I don't know how you managed to without one. Must have adamantium fingernails.

only issue with these is that they seemed to be more designed for 6/7gen ipods there's a little of a curved profile on the edge to flll the contour of the more curved aluminium faceplate, the 5th gens' flat face might seemed a bit pressed on the edsges on the cover but other than that it's kinda fone, also all these years no one made a thick clear case, not even an adapter for these thin clear case? I dont want to convert my thick 5.5 to thin

hi, in few days im going to be buying a ipod classic 5.5 enhanced u2 that is black with red on it and signed. i want to get this clear case for it. it says for thin only . witch is 10.5mm, will this fit? im unsure if its thick or thin. so confused. been a severly long time since ive own this ipod . but iam so excited to finnaly get one. and the fact i can get one that is bran new from u really says alot. i trust ur site more then ebay right now. cant wait.

Even though the cases are for 5th/7th gen could you get hard cases for a 4th gen ipod classic? If you could either tee ell me where to go to get one or put them in stock in your store i would buy one fir my ipod.
