Ok folks, so you all love the low carb bread recipes I make. But I know some of you are scared off by the time it can take. Firstly you need to check out my other wonderful low carb bread recipes or keto bread recipes, some of which are low carb microwave bread recipes too, which can be found here:
But what I have for you is a keto microwave English muffin today! Yes, it is a slight variation on a regular keto microwave bread recipe and is incredibly versatile. This low carb microwave English muffin is so easy to make, literally on takes a few minutes and tastes delicious. You can put any type of topping on this keto English muffin, savory or sweet. You have to try this low carb English muffin – it is only a few ingredients and you have nothing to lose!
These keto microwave English muffins are also gluten free and grain free so they fit anyone trying to avoid those! It will of course, fit into any following a low carb, keto, lchf or banting lifestyle. That is why we can call these lchf English muffins, and banting English muffins too! Any name will do!
Did I mention how easy these keto English muffins were to make?! No super kitchen skills needed for these low carb microwave English muffins. So there is no excuse not to be munching on yummy keto English muffins!
All the ingredients used in these ketogenic microwave English muffins are commonly used in a low carb, keto, banting or lchf househould. So you should have these ingredients lying around. 1 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter (15g / 0.53oz)
2 Tablespoons Almond Butter (32g / 1.13oz)
2 Tablespoons Almond Meal or Flour (15g /0.53oz)
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder (2.5g / 0.09g)
Salt to taste
1 Tablespoon Unsweetened Almond Milk (15ml / 0.5oz)
1 Large egg
Macros for entire recipe:
Calories: 400
Fat: 38g
Net Carbs: 3g (9g carbs – 6g fiber)
Protein: 10g
Macros per 1 smaller English Muffin:
Calories: 200
Fat: 19g
Net Carbs: 1.5g (4.5g carbs – 3g fiber)
Protein: 5g
