America should have backed up slowly on this. They do not have 5G ready yet. I understand that the country is becoming weaker technologically and it's ok for them to try to get their position back. But the process that Trump is following is not working well. He should have proceeded strategically and not arbitrarily.

As an American living in China, I don't care if US or China is number 1. I just want to see the economic barriers to lifted in both countries, have rules promote an even playing field, and let the two compete for supremacy on merit rather than cheap-shot tactics. However, the only concern I have of China being the single biggest economy is their potential legitimizing of brutal authoritarianism. Then again, what number one nation (or nations vying for the number one spot) in the history of the world didn't get power hungry and step on everyone else for their own benefit?

I am a Chinese, I don't konw why China ban Youtube、Facebook or other softwares many years ago, but I am still commenting here. I think both America and China want to get better in the world so that they make diplomas that are benefit to their own people. Nowadays, the difference between China and America is much smaller than many years ago, so I think we should think in an old way. What the government do should be good for its people, not to prove the correctness.

China doesn't ban Google. It is Google who existed Chinese market themselves because they cannot compete with local internet companies. Google can be used before in China until they left China

There is something for China to learn too. The state is for people and not against them. People matter not the state. Also Chinese are by nature bullying. They attacked India for nothing. You become a superpower by leading and not bullying.
