What's hilarious is I have been working on a project for a video on exactly this with one of these Lenovo Thinkcentre boxes and Batocera. The difference is I'm doing some more physical modding and putting it into an Xbox 360 case

Ok so I'm gonna get straight to the point in currently using batocera V38 and loving it but for some reason windows games at least those that work I can't seem to get a fps counter going and also temps, when I turn on DXVK hud and DXvk feature on I get a black screen, using a HP office PC as batocera console

Cpu-I5 -4570
GPU - Intel HD 4600 graphics (onboard graphics)
Ram-8gb DDR3 1600mhz
Storage - 500gb HDD

Instead of flashing onto an SSD and installing it into a PC, can I just buy a MiniPC, like a BeeLink Ser5, and flash directly onto the 500gb SSD that comes inside it?

So exactly how does Batocera know what the optimal audio and video drivers are for that pc? Or is it just loading generic stuff?

Hey bro so I recently just ordered a mini PC simulator to the one that was on the right at the beginning of the video, and every time I see this process done it’s done with using 2 PCs even tho I have a mini PC I still will need a primary PC to access and download and transfer batocera and stuff also right ? This can’t be done using only a mini PC and its own storage space ?

last week i installed Batocera to a 64gb ssd i bought for $6nzd that is in my laptop
laptop has celeron n3050 4gb ram
it works decent for consoles up to gamecube 1 games i tried out of 5 ran ok others lag or look to be running slower with choppy audio no matter what realization or setting i use i never tried frame skip tho

i found a video a couple of months ago not in English so i cant find it anymore with somebody running Batocera from a flash stick on a slightly worse spec celeron laptop with slower IGP and they could run the same GC game i tried much better without any frame skip

so what could cause this could it be when im changing setting in Batocera for GC its not changing anything even tho it shows the setting are changed?

What's the preferred size of external ? Does it have to be 500gb ? (PS: I watched it without sounds, i''ll watch again later with audio.)
