I did a video too on doing the case swap. Bypassing the front usb errors are real easy to do, just a matter of jumping or adding a ground. Will post a link to the video I did explaining it. Love the content!!

yeah thst power supply isnt going to cut it for graphics cards, id upgrade to a 500w or 600w

For the psu, u can make an extension plate out of metal attaching the case screw hole for the psu and the screw hole on the actual psu

The easiest swap you can do is hp pro 3500. Everything connects right even if you swap the power supply for a bigger gpu. No errors

FYI i tried running a fan splitter from the CPU fan header as well on this system, the power draw from all the fans fried the mobo.

very helpful video! my only concern is not having the same pc. i have an hp 8300 elite small form factor. how do you reckon finding a case that fits?

I'm on the process of doing this swap, but on the TWR model. Finding #6-32 x in huts for the CPU cooler here in Europe his a huge b*tch, and I don't see myself butchering the old case to get the tabs. But I don't despair, I'll find a way eventually.
