“This might look like an old beat up xbox”

>Shows the most immaculate and clean xbox 360 to ever exist

It's loud, it's hot, its impractical. Nothing has changed but the performance.

I think installing some little rubber feet on the bottom would still keep it pretty stealthy and raise it up just a bit so the GPU can breath a bit more

I love compact gaming PC builds like this. Would love to see a follow up with better temps and improved case!

A part 2 would be really neat. Still though, hitting 80-90+ degrees on average will definitally hurt the lifespan of your components. If there is a part 2, if you somehow magically find a way to clean up the IO and make the temps more managable then that would be cool. Still, due to the space constrants I don't think it will be possible to get good power, noise, and heat distrobution. Maybe, it could be possible to get 2 out of the 3, but not all 3.

Imagine playing GTAV on a pc with 512mb ram. Insane what consoles can handle.

As a DIY enthusiast, I applaud you if this was your first go at something like this bro. Just like your "3rd time's a charm" approach, this can only get better if you do improve the layout, cable management, and airflow portions of the system. I'd love to see a follow up on this for sure. I'm all for unconventional presentations on consoles and pc's.

I would not have destroyed a perfectly-working one, when plenty of dead ones are available for practically free from people's closets.

Really nice build! I think a 3D printed new shroud could maybe help the little rear fans or may modded/trimmed slightly larger fans if possible?

I'd like to see a part 2! There is room for optimization with the system, so I hope you can figure out a way to make it cleaner and run cooler!

The build would have definitely benefited from a vented air exhaust, as you stated in the beginning. I would've considered swapping the GPU with an FE style cooler that blows the hot air out. It will be tricky for the CPU, though. I haven't seen a consumer vented CPU cooler on the market.

I would've definitely used lower end, older parts, like an i3 10100f paired with a low profile card, as well as cutting out a few holes and adding a mesh over those holes to increase air flow. Overall though, impressive build. Made me want to try something like this with my fat ps3

I think a blower style fan on the CPU cooler would help a lot with temps, since that fan is just blowing air at a blank plate at the moment. The little Noctua fans will be pulling most of the weight there, so glad you included them! Great video, and solid effort on what you've achieved here

Wow, congrats! The best console ever! I have an Xbox one s these days but I've spent several hours playing with my 360, I still have it and it plays fine. It's like giving a second life to your childhood gaming time with modern games and a modern PC. I've never seen your channel before but now I'm subscribed. Thank you very much. Keep up the good work

I think a 3d printer would greatly help you on your projects. I really like your build videos!

This really enlightens the childhood in me, I think you should definitely do a follow up video of you polishing up the small things that would be fantastic!

"Somehow I never got the dreaded red ring of death"

That console was manufactured in 2009, by that point, the board revision they were on had entirely fixed the issue, being the most reliable models still to this day(even more so than the slim models which came later).

Dude.. the fact that you are referring to an xbox 360 arcade console as your child hood console is making me feel old af. It was mine too. I got one in 2009 or 2010. I was around 12. Just turned 25 and holy hell man... time flies (i know I'm young). The first game I ever had was Resident Evil 5. I played the 4th on ps2 a thousand times. The joy when I got this console.. great video man. Congrats on a cool build

Gotta say I normally don't like the pc in an xbox 360 shell because alot of corners i feel get cut but you kept the soul of the 360 alive in yours . Great Job
