My teacher stepped off a curb wrong, heard a loud snap, and fainted before she could feel the pain. I'm not sure she needed that test then.

Optimal treatment of acute Achilles Rupture is a highly contested topic[13], but can be broken down into:

Open Operative

Percutaneous Operative

Nonoperative Types.[5]

If a physician advocates for a non-surgical approach, the foot is typically placed in a cast or splint, such that it is held in plantar flexion. This treatment can be combined with early physiotherapy.[14]

More recently, evidence-based guidelines for managing Achilles Tendon Rupture have been released by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). None of the recommendations have a grading of "strong", but consensus recommendations based on expert opinion advocate the need for a detailed patient history and physical examination in diagnosis.[9][13] The group also recommends a more cautious approach in operative treatment for certain patients, including those with diabetes and/or neuropathy, aged 65 or older, who are obese or who have sedentary lifestyles, who are immuno-compromized, and who use tobacco.[9] The only recommendations rated as "moderate" in strength (fair quality evidence) were specifically for post-operative interventions. These were the suggestions for:

Protective weight bearing and

Use of a protective device that allows mobilization 2-4 weeks post-operatively.[13][9]

A review on the topic advocates for educating patients on the potential risks and benefits of each type of treatment, including operative and nonoperative types.[13]

I ve definitely done something with my achilles and I've just had to deal with it for 6 weeks walking, running, jumping and I am in constant agony. Just did this test and got someone else to do it. It happened when I did 200, 000 steps in a span of 3 days BTW.

I might have partially popped my Achilles but my doctor told me it's fine only rest when it hurts. It's been a week and I'm still in a lot of pain and the pains spreading. It was a pop sound at the back of my heel. I was standing on my tip toes reaching for a container at work

The KX-3's akilly's tending is a set of strong wires part of the Traction and controls surface. The pilot and copilot will move the KX-3's feet via throttle. It's not necessary now cause the KX-3's engines will work. Thus that's why her feet will planerflex even if the "tenden" already Ruptured

Two guys I know we're sitting in there car when another guy I knew "who is now dead shot to death " drove past and shot at them the bullet went through drivers forearm and bounced of the door hitting the passenger right on the Achilles tendon. It was hanging by a thread but enough was left for them to repair it.
