20 DBD Downgrades That Shouldn't Have Happened

Dead by Daylight likes to make completely unnecessary changes, so I compiled a list of 20 things that shouldn't have been downgraded so hard :(

Burning a Wraith out of cloak was not skilful, it was the simplest thing to do in the entire game and crippled a killer already at the lower tiers for the enjoyment of the local narcissist in this game.

Nah, lightburn being removed was great
It's the same logic for removing the ability to sabo Trapper's traps
Or the reason Adrenaline just got the change that it no longer wakes you up against Freddy

As an avid Object of Obsession user and defender, you don't use Object to just reveal perks the killer is using, you use it to completely deny any form of mind games that the killer might try. Nowhere to Hide, Lethal Pursuer, and Darkness Revealed are a few perks that you can play around and determine where the killer is going. This gives you, and potentially your team, CRUCIAL information that might change the game. Also, the 30 second reveal timer only ever comes into effect when trying to linger for a flashlight save. More often than not the killer is to focused on other things to be searching for your object ping and you just get free info.

Anytime someone says removing Lightburn was bad I instantly stop taking their opinion seriously. Sorry, but no, Lightburn was not a good thing, no it wasn't "skillful" no, it wasn't fun, I hate Nurse as much as the next person but you are on some serious nostalgia crack if you actually think an item hard countering a killer was a good thing.

With Object of Obsession, you also see the killer every 30 seconds because you see the killer's aura every time they see yours.

Honestly kinda surprised that the Hoarder nerf wasn't mentioned. Hoarder used to be a perk that was good on Killers like Pinhead and Wesker that force you to interact with items while being trash on everyone else, and now it's just a bad perk for everyone
