Have a test on this tomorrow and you just saved my life. One thing I noticed was at 3:48 you basically had it in slope-intercept form.... MIND BLOWING!!!

Turning the slope-intercept into standard form was wrong because The "A" in the standard form cannot be negative

linear equations with the same slope are parallel as they will never cross each other. So you need to solve the equation for the constant (c) when y=2, x=5, and the slope = 3. so solve : 2=3*5+c

Thank you so much. i just understood our whole math unit in a 10 min video... my schools math teachers are terrible... they never explain why the do the next step on equations, and they go threw things so fast like they think we already know

the standard form example problem was actually in point slope form, which made it confusing when you talked about transfering slope intercept into standard form

holy SHIT i learned nothing in algebra 1 and now were reviewing these kinds of problems in alg 2, and I have mixed class with sophomores. not knowing how to do these makes you feel like ass when an underclassman can do it better. khan academy is amazing, my god..
