A most excellent job! I haven't seen anybody do such a nice job. I did learn to do such a thing. Working in a couple of old houses for my friend. Little bit of trial and error but I was able to blend in the plaster wall with things and what not to the remaining wallpaper. Of course there was a lot of cutting out of wallpaper that was Jagged or pulling off. By no means that I remove four layers of wallpaper. It wasn't necessary.

I live with my 90 year old Grandfather who needs a little help now and again. House repairs have been beyond him for some time and I was at a loss as to how to start or what to do to about them myself.
This video helps immensely. It's easy to follow and took a lot of the apprehension I had about patching up an outlet in our bathroom. I've ordered supplies online and have actually become excited to try my hand at this. Thank you for the video and the confidence boost!

🔥Nice product Paul! Back in the day when I started piece work drywall I was charged $40 for every plug I blew. I don't ever blow plugs anymore that's for sure but this happens all the time, guys screw too close to the box so when they hit it with the router it busts out the corners. Also improperly marked boxes too. Thanks for sharing Paul!!

This is exactly what I was looking for. My kids were roughhousing and put a hole in the wall next to an outlet with their big heads. Lol. Thanks for the video!

Also a great tip in which i struggled to figure out and learn, , , mainly for remodeling or blending or anything drywall mud related and there is a large holes or different planes to match... and that is always do the first coat or fill with the mud as thick as possible, , Screwholes especially.... ( obviously banjos and bazookas and brand new whole house taping may not apply to this tip

How do you plan to replace that outlet if needed once plastered? Wouldn’t be easier to remove it before you fix that and screw it back in place once done ?

How would you fix these same bad spots, but on a textured wall around a 3-gang switch outlet. The bad spots or the top right and right side of box only?

I start with topping mud after the first coat. It comes out a lot smoother than all-purpose.

I have a wall that was textured then years later skim cited over it. Kids stuck cork board squares up and when pulled off, it pulled all off to the brown paper. Area is about 4ft sq. Help. Glue still on drywall around the hole also.
