This video is a look at sections 4 and 5 of Chapter 10 of Marx's Capital, The Working Day. Marx is examining factory reports to explain night work, the Relay System and capitalism's need for 24 hour a day Labour. In Section 5 Marx examines how capitalism was required to rapidly replace labourers and how it views external populations. He also analyses the struggle over the length of the working day throughout English history.

these videos are seriously saving me today I was supposed to read capital up to chapter 11 by today and if it weren't for these videos I would be going to class with way less understanding.
