America is moving back to the clearly separate peasant class and a landlord class. Capitalism only worked for a short time. That time was when labor was in great demand and the landlords had a vested interest in maintaining a reliable workforce. Since the late 70's and labor demand was eliminated by turning over production to the Chinese, we have seen a horrible decline in the quality of life of 80% of our population with only the top few percent enjoying massive growth year after year.

We have no representatives in government, so taxation on wealth has declined and will soon be eliminated. Regulations to protect our health are also now being stripped away.

Now more than ever, the only hope for individuals now is to educate ourselves about political corruption by big money and demand reforms in how money is used to control every aspect of our society.

Capitalism has become far more complex than this example of bread. Today, large companies don't invest in more machinery to make more bread, they acquire their competitors and other firms making other products, combine operations and fire all the redundant work force. We see today the same ten crappy low quality, low paying businesses in every single city in America. The little family capitalist has nearly been eliminated by Walmart, Amazon, McDonalds, Applebee's, Starbucks, Kroger, Chevron, etc... Now we are going to see a massive cut in American labor as AI and robotics is coming online and in ten years, we will not speak to a human being about anything. I have watched massive warehouses and ports where all the vehicles moving anything anywhere were entirely autonomous (no humans at all), even loading and unloading was automated.

The global elites are focused on energy and information. Control these two things and you control mankind. Read a book titled "Dark Money, " and you will want to vomit because we have all been lied to by both political parties, yet we mostly want to wear stupid red or blue hats as if dividing will ever empower us to actually have the power to break the grasp on our economy by the 0.1%.

My critique of Marxism is that it appears to merely critique without offering resolution? The very people you want offering capital machinery in a Capitalist society are the very people being strangled at gun point. The only question becomes, do they value being strangled or strangling more...?

I'm not a socialist, but Marx does provide an important critique of capitalism. I also often wonder if the development of monetarism has changed or will change capitalism.
