People made fun of me at my local lake...cos I would fish cranks through grass....they all were catching 1, 2 lbs...I was pulling 3, 4lbs....after awhile they all stopped laughing...usually when I feel it hit grass I stop and let it rise....but Ike just showed me a different way..thanx Ike!

How do you get bites with grass hanging on the hooks of the crankbait? I throw it near grass and I get it hung up in it. You are pulling a crankbait through grass and bringing it up with no grass on it.

i just hate it when i reel the crankbait back every time and there's grass on it either the bill or hooks.

if you rip is with mono or floro or braid it will rip right throw the grass a crank bait wont just go straight up when you whip it lol
