For full effect, run god skin swaddling and Malenia's own Great Rune. It's entirely possible to use Waterfowl Dance to surge your health to full in addition to having epic DPS. I've personally found Scarlet Aeonia quite fun to use as well. You can't just spam it, but you can nuke crowds and reliably inflict Scarlet Rot on most bosses.

Soreseal was a bad pick tbh, I think godskin swaddling would work far better with the mult hit based build, or takers cameo, but I think swaddling would work better, using a poise physik would also be a good choice to avoid waterfowl being cancelled

I’ve been using this exact build for awhile now but I use lord of bloods exultation and Varres white mask. With seppuku on my off hand katana. And of course I used Golden Vow and Flame Grant Me Strength on top of it all. The Highest I seen my AR get up to from hitting a single target with the whole ash of war was like 3120! I love this Dex build more than any other build I’ve used in elden ring💙

God I feel so triggered that you don't use the 3rd input on waterfall dance...
You have enough stamina left and the enemy isn't dead....but you just don't do it 😮‍💨

you only showed 2 combo of the weapon arts but aslong as you got enough stamina you can do the full combo (5 combos) just like malenia and yes it have it's drowbacks but it cool af so still fun to use

ive been using this build as a lvl 215 on a ng+ and its really good for damage i use a katana with seppuku and its op doing like 3k each combo with the slashes and the ashes of war malenia's weapon and for my lvl and having the weapon max the whole combo for it does like 5k-16k which is crazy for a build i didn't expect to be this good also its good for pvp.

The Godskin Swaddling Cloth makes you gain HP after successive attacks for a more lore based build

on your first playthrough i recommend killing milicent as soon as you beat the godskin apostle during her questline, getting her prosthesis. you can get the regular winged sword insignia to stack with the prothesis, but cannot stack it with the rotten version.

so for the stacking damage buffs, it requires 3 hits initially to get the first stack? used this build for most of my 2nd playthrough, but there were certain fights where it felt like i wasn't hitting as hard as you were in your video.

I still think this weapon is quite underwhelming compared to when Malenia is using it. The idea of using it is tempting, but once you finally just hella weak. It also sucks to rely on a wondrous physick that can't be reused.
