We’re doing a very special project that is actually outside of my home in my childhood bedroom! This room needs a lot of help and I have just a few days to make it over and surprise my mom, so let’s see if I can pull this off.

When we want to move furniture around, my husband grabs a tape measure and some graph paper. He measures the room and all the furniture, then makes a scale model so we can try lots of things without having to lug the actual furniture around. It takes a little time, so probably isn't for everyone. But it does save your muscles a bit.

Can’t wait! This is so helpful to me right now as I am trying to help my in-laws with their home. Sometimes it is helpful to see the forgotten rooms of others so that we can see the potential in less than perfect spaces when we see the “after”.👍🏻

I have painted and redecorated my mom's house since I can remember. In the last 7 months, I painted her bedroom, guest bedroom, dining room, living room, kitchen and kitchen cabinets. I redecorated her guest bedroom just about completely. I also need to replace the kitchen floor, countertop, and backsplash but I've never done that before so I'm worried. I'm thinking of doing this while she is on vacation in March. I don't mind the work but I find myself too lazy to take before and after pictures or videos.
