You guys should go to West Hollywood La Cienega and Santa Monica Boulevard there's a motel there where Jim Morrison lived for two years and there is a room dedicated to him with writing of his fans all over the wall and ceiling! You can actually rent out the room and stay there. It's really awesome I recommend it!

I was there 2 years for the 50th anniversary of the Morrison hotel album. They recreated the whole thing to look just the album cover and took pics inside with kids. Also had the honor to take a pic with The Doors photographer Henry Diltz ♥️ very awesome day!

From what I understand, the story is that the clerk walked away from the front, at which time they ran in and took the shot. Maybe there are various versions of the story. Either way, thank you for all of the videos you shoot. I can't believe the damn building burned like it has. Well, maybe it is believable considering the location. Hell, the location wasn't great when they did the shoot. I am interested in the Green Apple around the corner, which was once the Hard Rock Cafe, where the Doors were drinking before the photo shoot. I believe the story there is that they left the cafe to look for some food, which is when they discovered the Morrison Hotel. The inside of the Green Apple looks nothing like it did when it was the cafe. Again, thank you for all of your hard work. It brings to life many of the things I love. Peace.

Great video! Morrison Hotel is my favorite Doors album. It is magnificent, and the album cover is wonderful, too. I wish some rich guy would come along, buy that property, and then have it fixed up.
