Foundation is a grid-less, sprawling medieval city building simulation with a heavy focus on organic development, monument construction and resource management.

In this strategy/city-builder/economy simulation game, players must create a prosperous settlement as the newly appointed lord of a region untouched by man.

Setting to redefine the city-builder genre, Foundation puts the emphasis on the organic aspects of urbanism in the cities of old, powered by Polymorph Games’ proprietary game engine, Hurricane. Which allows for full mod support and is optimized for the thousands of moving parts that come with building humongous cities.

Among other things, the engine provides the player with robust building tools, to create countless unique monuments that will seamlessly integrate into your settlement.

With medieval architecture and urbanism at the forefront of its design, Foundation’s vision is to allow players to recreate cities of that period as they envision them or even as they really were.

I'm normally not a big fan of using mods, but I'm all for it in this game and with the ones you're using. So many possibilities *-* Your city is looking great! Can't wait for more, I'm still a massive fan of this series :)

Absolutely love what you are doing with this build. The mods do add so much choice, and with the free form and modular nature of the game we are only really restricted by our imagination.

With the windows mod you had trouble with near the end, I've been playing the game today and had the same problem. I tried numerous times to add raised windows to buildings, but as soon as I click build, no one comes over to build them. It used to work really well, so I think it might need an update from the modder.

I've got 1210 hrs of gameplay under my belt with this game according to Steam. It has basically taken over my life, lol. Keep the series going for as long as you can because I would love to see more of your creativity with the buildings and decorations.

Thank you for the videos.

I am loving this build :) The modder who made the Keep mod, vjraymon has a YouTube channel:
jean-raymond vieux

Basically though, you do you and let the creativeness be free :) Your builds look fabulous :) I wouldn't worry too much if the hoardings work for you or not, the whole point of the mods and the game is to make it your own and build a town you're happy with :D

I don’t own the game but could holding shift make stuff go up and down? I’m only 12 minutes in so you may figure it out by the end of the video
