From Camp to Kingdom: Dominating the World Manor Lords!

This is the story of how I built a small tent camp into a kingdom the conquered the entire world! Along the way, I even learned that sending my archers info melee combat was a bad idea.

This is a supercut of my entire Manor Lords series, from day 1 to day 5,860. Because of how this was originally recorded, I think it might actually flow better as one long video then a series of shorter ones. Enjoy!

This 'movie length' format of video is my favorite way to watch play throughs. I've been looking for something like this for Manor Lords specifically as I'm trying to understand the game! I'm only 17 mins in and have learned so much!

Hello everyone! Trying something new with this supercut and curious to know how you feel about it!

If you decide to watch the whole video and need to remember where you left off, leave a timestamp as a comment. Also, that's engagement... and you know how I feel about that

23:02 storage tip: even though you don’t have enough people to build your militia, build it anyway. As people join the militia will grow. More importantly, when you start your militia, your families grab weapons and armor from storage and keep them in their homes. This frees up space in your storage.

There's a reason you're called City Planner Plays, and not, say, Medieval Warfare Expert Plays. If your peasants could talk, they'd say they love living in the wonderful community you've built, but would appreciate it if your tactical blunders didn't get quite so many of them killed :)

This is one of the best advertisements for a game. A modern city planner takes charge of medieval fief. This is one of my favorite videos from you. I hope you keep playing.

anyone else did a massive facepalm when he made those fields at 28:20 XD

For those who dont understand: those fields are MASSIVE. you need 2 farms with a full workforce (2x8 family) to get that plowed, seeded and harvested in time. he's also not looking at what crop needs what fertility at all, like 8% yield is insanely little for the amount of effort it needs xd

The windmill is elevated on a swivel. It’s so that the building can be turned as the wind currents change.

Correct me if I’m not 100% accurate, but also in times where there is little to no wind, there is a mechanism in place that allows for manual milling.

I love your editing. You are not afraid to zoom and pan the footage, making it pop. You made a slow paced city game seem fast-paced, and that's pretty impressive.

1. The woodcutter lodge can be on its own as they cut down trees so I usually have that away from the logging camp.
2. Threshing priority should be set to low until all of your fields have been harvested. If it is medium or high, some of the workers will prioritize turning to grain rather than harvesting and removing the crops from the field. There is also a 99.99% chance of rain straight after harvest which will spoil the crop. Set to medium or high only once you have re-planted all the crops so you don't miss the winter cut off. Once you are in winter they can spend time threshing.

Everytime he went to combat, I just chuckled at the blunders and said to myself "Can't expect the city planner to have the tactical knowledge." Great super cut!

This feels like a tutorial and a gameplay video at the same time... And I love it!!

Note that you can press the "pause" button on specific buildings, and it then releases the family to work on other things. When you "unpause" the building, the family rejoins. This saves allocating and deallocating families. So long there is capacity, a family will rejoin the unpaused building

I love how the roads get wider the more they are getting used, thus creating natural occuring collectors and local roads

Ill be honest. this has to be one of the best videos I've watched in a while, its beginner friendly so I can watch it without understanding the game. I cant play it but I can watch it while still having fun. and it also doesn't feel like a tutorial. Thanks for this :)

Dude! I literally couldn't stop myself from purchasing the game after watching this vid. I am enjoying the slower pace in comparison to Age of Empires. Instantly hooked and I cannot wait to see what's down the line considering this is, "early access". I hope to see plenty more Manor Lord videos from you in the future, because I'm already watching this 4 hour video a second time as I play through. Thanks!

This is a post mill. The mill was constructed on a single central post that allowed the whole structure to be rotated to face the wind, thus ensuring continual and optimal use.
