We just finalized our general liability today, and it was only $775 for the year. It's definitely one of the first things to get done once money starts coming in. Was able to add commercial auto to my existing policy for just $25 extra a month. It's not as bad as it can seem when you're first starting out.

Any advice for people getting back to work after receiving an injury? What are some conditions that indicate a need for a career change?

Love your videos. was wondering if you could help answer a couple questions.

I currently am planning on writing off my personal truck as 50% for business and have been tracking everything accordingly, but i don't have commercial auto insurance. Do I need commercial auto insurance to write off anything from truck? I currently have personal auto insurance.

I am a pooper scooper and use it to drive from home to home to pick up dog poop. I do not have any company trucks. My current truck has no brand insignia and no heavy equipment. I just have a rake and a bucket in the bed of my truck.

I currently only have general liability for myself only under the LLC.

also I have a couple workers that are 1099 and are expected to clean a certain amount of houses during their work week whenever they want to schedule it. I do not classify them as w2 employees and they do not wear my uniforms. Have you ever ran into any issues with this with the IRS on the classification of 1099 vs w2 employee? I don't want to get into any hot water, but I do understand there is a very thin line and gray area when it comes to this.

I appreciate the awesome videos.

Just wondering is their such thing as getting a pension while owning a lawn care/landscaping business?

Nice video. Are you going to make a video about 2023 pricing? I'm already giving landscaping quotes for 2023 here in Ontario and upped my prices. No issues. 100% return rate!

Scaring the F out of people with complications may not be the means of laying this out there.
