I can't hear "BMW 330D" without thinking of "Peniston Oils" and "Larson's Biscuits"

In Bosnia the "old saying" goes: You pull stuff with diesel, cook on gas and drive on petrol :)

Cities here in Germany already start banning diesel cars from their downtown areas. Complete nonsense if you ask me. Then would need to ban trucks and busses to. Would be interesting to see who then takes away the garbage

This is why car throttle has over 1m followers, it's a proper petrol heads channel for us guys and gals that love little hatches and saloons we don't care about supercars because they are out of our reach and they are characterless and boring and people like seen through glass and shmee wonder why they don't have as near enough subscribers as these guys it because nobody cares about snobby expensive cars we love cheapness we can us daily! Never change car throttle!

Diesel is the future. Synthetic diesel can already be made from renewables and is a great way to store energy. Nothing can beat a diesel in energy density and range.

2009 Honda Accord 2.2 Diesel remapped to 205bhp with 450nm of torque, sleeper in disguise with that 6 speed gear box and strut braces.

I had Fabia vRS. Brilliant car. 60mpg on Norfolk roads is good going. Out dragged my mates mark 6 Fiesta ST. Mine was a last year production so was fitted with leather bucket seats. The most amazing thing about the car was how it went from 40mph to 80mph. I was quicker than my mates Clio 182. I now have a X-type 3.0 V6 AWD petrol. I recommend the X-type and the Jag diesel is very good engine. But they diesel X-types don’t drive as well as the petrols due to being FWD

Like idiots everyone went out and bought diesels as promoted by the govt in 2008-2010. Now like idiots we're getting rid of diesels to buy something else (like electric or shitty small petrol engines with cheap turbos bolted to them).

Do people not see a pattern here?

In today's normal cars.. Diesel engines are way better to drive than a petrol one.. Diesel engines upto 2 litre have way more torque and efficiency than their respective petrol counterparts.

I had MK1 Fabia VRS about 7 years ago - 1 owner 32k on the clock, Lovely little car.... What was even better though was the Seat Ibiza tdi 130 sport (Before they badged them FR) I had a few years previous to the Fabia. The Ibiza was so much fun and looked so subtle, It felt faster than the fabia and people didnt expect it to be quite quick.
