The Harmonic Minor Scale

Chords, Scales & Arpeggios are an essential part of any guitar players repertoire.

Today we look at the "Zoned" or "Caged" Harmonic Minor Scale. The formula is R-2-b3-4-5-b6-7

I played the example in C with the Root located on the Low E string at the 8th fret.

It is extremely beneficial to learn the shapes as intervals and not as dots. Learning the intervals will drastically improve your playing and improvisation skills.
