Grain to grain transfer is a great way to propagate your existing grain spawn. It is highly recommended to work in front of a laminar flow hood when doing this but a still air box can have success too.

Great video. It's good to see this, rather than the usual misinformation about putting spores straight to grain, fanning tubs and all the other nonsense that's out there. There is no need to soak grain overnight though by the way and senescence is largely a myth but still much better than many videos on here. Thank you.

The only grain transfers I do now is a single grain to a slant. I leave that sit for 3-4days to recover then place in fridge. This sample will last 12-18months stored this way and allows liquid culture to be propegated for spawn innoculation.

Are the lids under the foil when adding to pressure cooker? Or is it just foil over the open jar?

You can pressure cook for 10-15 minutes but if your boiling it in water than 1-2 hrs is best

You need to give out a less costly method than this. Not everyone have a pressure cooker or a special fan air purifier

Not everyone can do a HEPA filter. You can still do this work in a SAB (still air box), you just have to be obnoxiously careful is all.
