This comparison is dangerously provocative and Im saying this as a PGR player. There is nothing wrong with having similar animations between 2 different games, if you know anything about art, nothing is original and without reference.

Let it be clear that as a PGR player, I'm sure that most of us in the community aren't claiming that ZZZ is copying PGR in any way. Let us just enjoy both games for what they are and avoid any pointless drama.

I think it is a bit far reaching, these are fairly common weapon moves and I dont see a complete copy of movesets. There's only certain amount of ways a sword can be swung, or a gun can be fired. I dont think we should spark even more controversy between Hoyoverse and Kurogames. Frankly, even *if* the accusations are true, Hoyoverse has such a large and dedicated fanbase, it will just get swept under the rug and just cause more tension between the two fanbases.

What I think is stupid tho, is that Hoyoverse fans get to call other games "copies" or "clones" on even the smallest similarities (game has grass or elements? Genshin clone) then when they are shown something that looks similar from other games that Hoyoverse "copied", they just shrug it off. I understand that this is a very small subset of the fanbase but its still kinda annoying when it happens. One recent example is Taoqi's ult (pink haired, big booba with a greatsword from Wuthering Waves) being called a "copy" of Eula's ult when theyre literally just both swinging the sword in a vertical fashion. Right now, youre acting like one of them IMO.

This comparison is just going to destroy reputation for both games😭. Remember when PGR was supposed to look very similar to Honkai that it's almost like a clone? same for zzz, it has yet to go through much side effects, just like Wuthering Waves that looks like a Genshin Copy. Well it's true MiHoyo learned from Kuro's fast-paced yet less colorful environment. But man, i totally despite this 🙁

I like PGR, but I'm fairly sure it didn't invent swinging those weapons or firing those guns like that. I mean, at this point, the "360 shooting" stuff is almost a requirement for any character in a game that uses dual pistols.

Kind of a reach here and the ones that are similar are executed in a different and unique enough way that its not really an issue I would say and that just taking animations into account literally nothing else of the entire game such as Kamui being an entirely different style of Greatsword character than Aokaku.
Small correction for Timestamp is that this is Kamui and not Chrome.

But isn't this game still on it's first beta test?? Which means people can feedback those things that are similar to PGR and change it before the actual CBT

I don't see too much of a similarity between Billy and A Rank Lee aside from the fact they use guns. Billy is more 'frenzy' like while A Rank Lee is more focused
