From the moment I saw the female characters' character designs and their trailers, I quickly realized that this game would be completely different from Hoyo's previous games, but in a "fan-service" way

Anyway, Fan-services in Jane Doe's trailer was enough to make Hoyo remind viewers to wear headphones :)

It pulls you in to goon. BUT. When actual gamers get her, she actually is insane. Like you know you build up bleed in souls games. She does that with her “assault” attack type. And she ramps up that shit so quickly that enemies just explode. You don’t even need to stun them.

Shes just like how people irl draw attention to each other honestly. Her appearance draws you in, but then you find theres real substance to her character (her atks, abilities, etc)

Well, outside of everything about her arguments, I genuinely find her really fun to play : like how can her fight style allows her to chain melee attacks while covering a large area, I just love it.

I think they forgot that mihoyo has always had the goal to make marketable anime girls ever since Da Wei made his first gacha game, how is this surprising to players that the company that started and risen from fan service is doing fan service? I literally like the way she stands, at first I thought she hold her hands like that for the sake lf being funny or something like that, like "I'm sneaky" but then I noticed she actually poses like that because she puts her thumbs through the metal thingies she has in her jacket (don't know how they are called)

But leaving that to the side, if people want to leave the game because one character triggers them in any way, it's okay, they are the ones losing an entertaining game. I will keep on playing, trying to summon the characters I like for whatever reasons I might have. And yeah, Jane is a character meant for fan service as a femme fatale type of character, nothing really new, but I mostly got convinced because of her idle animation.

i just came back to play zenless again after some time and didn't even know they have that kind of teaser. But i like jane's fast pace fight animation idk why it looks so cool to me

They say Jane is too much fanservice and degenerate bait…have they even looked at Zhu Yuan, Rina, Nicole and Grace…the menus even have specific angles for a better view.
Jane is probably the most clothed, least fanservicey girl (clothing wise) in the game by comparison (Even Rina in her maid dress, shows more detail than Jane.)
I’m skipping her, but because I don’t like her fighting style, yet I ain’t quittin because I don’t want her.

I find Jane Doe to be an exemplary example on how to perfectly animate a character, and, although I can see why people say it's gooner bait, but the game still has one hell of a story. If you're going to complain just 1 or 2 characters that might fall into this category, that just seems wrong to me

She is a really awesome character, she has interesting design, fun to play, sexy, mysterious and (apparently) cares about you... And likes your smell, for some reason
