as awesome as the video is, lets not forget what its in memory of. this wreck was devastating, and cost an engineer his life. remember John Luther ("Casey") Jones, as the hero who stayed with his train, trying to stop it as best he could.

My favorite part about this video is Illinois central 382 & 4-4-0 steam engine No. 2 (Johnny) From The Brave Engineer.

his six toned whistle was one of a kind, when people heard it at night they said "there goes Casey Jones." the American folk hero, the only one who died in that crash. the savior who saved everyone on that train, god bless Casey Jones!

At 4:59, I noticed the the caboose that was destroyed has the number 4014. This might be a reference to Union Pacific’s Big Boy no. 4014.

If truth be told, even I did not know that it was the 122nd anniversary of the death of Casey Jones, one of the best railroad engineers in American history. Even so, Illinois Central Railroad steam engine Number 382 was the last steam train Casey Jones drove after Steam Engine Number 638.

0:24 what’s the link to that whistle sound?

The reason why the double headed train stopped is because of a broken air hose
Not because the line was blocked

Do your research please

Very nicely done but the coaches you have behind #382 are marked Union Pacific when Jones worked for Illinois Central & his train the night of the crash only had six coaches

Fantastic just I know why you decided to it on April 30th because April 30th was the day Casey Jones died.
