I've been doing this since middle school. Sometimes you have to add in a extra loop becuse one isnt enough honestly most of the time I just remove the tabs and just make a paracord zip pull.

Specifically the Umbrella Corporation & Mandalorian ones.. super cool and I have a hat with a 1 inch reflective square that these would fit perfectly!

Any tip on how to stop a side release plastic buckle from rattling?
I've put a rubber band on the neck of the plug part of the buckle, and that works well, but the rubber band will eventually tire out and break. Looking for a more permanent solution.

I’ve replaced all the zipper pulls in my bags and pouches with the maxpedition or vanquest zippers pulls. They are so much easier to get a hold of and don’t drop between the zip when it is open. Not a classy or stylish look but 🤷🏼‍♂️ 😋.

I thought you might 'embed' the metal pull within a length of cobra-knots or some-such (as if the pull were the centre core pair of cords similar to when you tie onto a quick-release buckle). Like the new method for snake-knots... seem better for my
