i like Exeggutor being a dragon because its ridiculous.

but theres also a Very well explained reaso of Why he is.

the Plant he is, the Palm tree, as Grass Psychic, just makes sense, but In the Alola region which is supposed to be the Hawaiian theme.

there are subspecies of the Palm trees.
and one in particular is Called Dracae Australis
which comes from
Dracae *(greek for "From dragons" or Dragon)*
and Australis ((latin for "stretched Leaves"))

the Dracae Australis has been Nicknamed in those Regions
THE DRAGON OF MADAGASCAR
Since i suppose thats the region where that plant grows more.

Its a Palm tree too, or MORE COMONLY KNOWN as a palm tree, but Dracae Australis is the scientific name
and Dragon of Madagascar its nick name.

thats why, exeguttor became a dragon.

I think an Alolan onyx would be great. A crystal onyx. It was so majestic in the anime, it would look so sharply cut and refined, not lumpy and rocky like a normal onyx.. Beautiful but powerful. Special attacker. I don't know how Steelix and Mega Steelix would work, because there haven't been any Alolan megas, but I think steelix should be a blindingly bright platinum, almost angelic.

Alola Corphish and Crawdaunt! The pokedex always talks about how they're not native to hoenn, so perhaps they actually CAME from Alola! They could be Water/Dragon or even Dark/Dragon and have Shell Armor or Hyper Cutter (since adaptability wouldn't really make sense for their native forms)

The Bellossom, the Shellos/Ggastrodon and the Chatot really do make sense and I hope they see this video and put them in.

Me personally I want Alolan Trapinch, Vibrava, and Flygon. Cause lets face it, even with a mega evolution Flygon's base stats are so middle ground they have to go through serious stat redistribution in Mega evolution. However with Alolan forms, Flygon won't longer be the desert spirit but the Spirit of the forest. By doing so will make Trapinch a lime green and naturally suited to burrowing through wood rather than earth, thus changing it from Ground to Bug type. Something that will transfer to Vibrava and Flygon as they become Bug/Dragon. It would renew interest into an already popular poke while making it much different than Garchomp. For an ability, I'm thinking of getting Tinted Lens ir adaptibility.

I love that fire-ice Shinx line. Strong jaw would work perfectly with ice fang and ground.

I'm thinking Alola forms will have the same total stats, but moved around a bit. The Pokemon site very heavily points to Sandshrew and Sandslash having more Defense but less Speed, and seeing Alola Exeggcutor slam his goofy head down might mean he's more physically strong instead of specially.

It'd make sense as well, unlike Mega Evolution, which is an "evolution" making Pokemon stronger, these Pokemon have adapted, changing typing and stats around to suit their new environment.

Plus they wouldn't break competitive the way Megas did.
