Panel Logic: if I'm a bigger bully they'll stop being bullies
Everyone else: teach them something other than being a bully!

If its only a mile damn right he better lace up his shoes and start running. But would i post a video about it? No. Theres a time and place to learn a lesson. And posting it all over facebook is just gonna make the kid feel like sh*t

Exactly these parents are bullies themselves but are punishing their children for that reason. It's called hypocrisy 🙄

Matt had a point, everyone is scared of how ppl will perceive them as a parent which is why you don’t publicize ur life. But a mile run though, boy wait until your in Middle school and you gotta do the mile every year or better yet joining the track team. A mile run is light work, 😂 😂

I dont think publicly humiliating your kid is the right way about it. But I do think that kids need serious consequences to their actions. Talking to them doesn't cut it

What about the humiliation those kids who were bullied have to deal with

Im on the side of the parents here. And I mean no disrespect to the doctors and professionals. I am just curious about a fact.

I mean even if there is research to back their statements wouldnt it be inconclusive since several factors play in the study?

Like the sample they get. How many are students who are bullies and are bullied and what are their personality traits and if their differwnces play a role or not?

Other factors include environment if their studies are backed by research years ago wouldnt the studied children already become teens and the new children now have different environment (social media, fast paced life styles) which entails for new study?

I mean personally instilling a BIT of fear and authority is fine as long as you tell kids what it is for or why you need to do that. (NEVER go overboard to abuse them though)

The child learned a lesson it came from him himself. And how would you know that the kid would grow up bad because of the video and not the other way around and be a good citizen?

What a self righteous, abusive, cruel bigot that father is.

These so called "experts" must refrain from using copy and paste theories. Each child is different. There is a distinct and fundamental difference between child abuse and firmly teaching your child about the consequences of bad behaviour.

Y’all remember when a girl’s mother shaved her daughters hair of for bullying a kid with cancer? Well I bet she’s not bullying anyone anymore.

I don’t agree with posting punishment videos either. But, what about the attention this video will bring. Now this viral video of running to school in the rain has now reached a much larger audience. What about that? No more children on your show Dr. Phil.

It's exploitative to post humiliating videos of your children online. Probably do it for clout too

Is remarkable how the MOST of those "soft" parenting end up ALWAYS in DrPhil
Those parents did nothing wrong
