From my outsiders perspective and my two hours in the first game it seems that the Automatons are controlled by the children of the Cyborgs, who were evacuated to keep them out the clutches of Super Earth. And now the Children are returning to free their parents.

Cyberstan is in fact in Helldivers 2, as you would assume as this game is a sequel, 100 years after the original, it is in the center of the Valdis sector near the top of the map at the war table

"Hail Cyberstan"

But at first, I thought it said
"Helldiver scum"

they surprisingly act human enough when you play in the missions and during combat you can clear as day here them say stuff like
"Kill yourself!"
"Fuck you!"
and i swear I'm not bugging when i heard shit like this

this has scary implications for what will happen if they reach cyberstan. If they are this devoted to a planet 100 years later, then there must be some crazy tech that the automatons could use.

For the funny, I like to believe that the dialogue is actually completely unintelligible but us helldivers despising them so much interpret their sounds as a nefarious chant

I feel the the GET UP part is wrong. It really sounds like IRON WILL instead of GET UP. Especially if you listen closely it has less resemblance to "UP" on the last cadence and more toward "WILL".

The video you mentioned also has english captions show alternate lyrics for example when say cyberstan the captions say (diver scum) which i can hear both. I wonder which version of the lyrics is the real version.

In some places it seems that they layer 2 different phrases, which is why its hard to pin down the lyrics
The part where they say 'cyberstan' also seems to have 'diver scum' said by the others marching behind
Same with 'on to war' and 'unto dawn'
