How not to love Blender developers? They are so fast and efficient, I was still discovering some features in 3.0

I love how this update is considered more 'performance improvements', yet has more new features than most software updates do in 3 years!

Feels like yesterday we had 2.8, and it is already 3.1. Great job developers!

A small correction, the image size at 1:11 is 12000 x 15000, not 1200 x 1500.

The fact that Blender is a free software, feels so unreal. It's been extremely useful for my projects and it just keep getting better and better.

Edit: Hello, people from the first world, thanks a lot to everyone who donates, but to the people being condescending in the replies and the ones to come, just know I'm not making any money off my projects, they just that "projects" if i had the money to donate I would donate a lot, that's why I thankful is free, i come from a place where learning 3d is only a privilege for those who can afford a barely decent computer. So yeah, toned it down.

Thanks to everyone who helped make 3.1! It's not as feature-heavy as 3.0, but lots of great little improvements and some better performance. I'm excited to use the new nodes.

A solid update indeed, big thanks to the Blender Foundation and all contributors!

The fact that most of this update was dedicated to improve performance has made me very happy. But looking at all that geometry node stuff, just WOW!!! It feels like I should learn how to use geometry nodes soon.

Blender has always been a bright spot for the future of technology. I believe more companies will exist on this next level ethical platform because Blender is repeatedly proving the advantage of not being tied down by marketing schedules and monetization schemes. The freedom you have given us and keep overdelivering on is unprecedented in the world of of business today. THANK YOU!

Blender has everything I want from games. Consistent, user-friendly updates that add requested features, constantly improving performance each update instead of bogging the software down with unnecessary bloatware, and tweaking existing tools to be more user-friendly instead of maintaining them in an unwieldy state. Thank you very much for this, it's truly a wonderful tool.

Sometimes these days it feels like "updates" as term of "improvement" has lost its worth, at least for a lot of Softwares/Games. But THIS is what I think is a perfect example of pure improvement. I just love how it feels like christmas, getting nice gifts with every little update. Very well done ^-^

Thank you <3

mistake at 1:10 the image is 12000x15896px (massive image) but the on-screen text says only 1200x1500px (less than 1080p).

Man, this all looks great. I haven't been using Blender too much for a little while, just due to the nature of my current projects, and the leaps and bounds that have been made are mindblowing.
