With every new version it is getting harder to believe that Blender is free. Imo, its the best and most versatile 3d modeling software and its free.

I started learning blender at age 11, back at 2.27. I'm now 31 and have been using 3.0 RC for the last few weeks now. I can quite literally say I've spent the last 20 years growing up with Blender, there's never been a period more than a few weeks that I haven't worked on some cool Blender thing or another. I couldn't be more proud and excited for how far we have come. The future is bright! Someday I'll be 55 years old talking about how I was using Blender back in the 3.0 days. ;)

Congrats Blender team. You've made Autodesk look hilariously silly. This free, open-source monster of a project deserves all the accolades and money and awards and... just everything. What an amazing community to build such a thing. It's almost awe-inspiring. We should all be eternally grateful and thankful that this team gives us this for free. It's... perhaps a pinnacle of human kindness. At least, in my mind it is. Time isn't free, but they spend it so we can have a professional grade product that enables us to do anything we set our minds to. That's kindness. Thank you.

Just WOW. I have worked with version 2.93 for a long time - and now 3.0 - absolutely outstanding! insane performance, great new interfaces and incredibly fast! The render times in cycles have been cut in half! A big praise to all developers, to the Blender team & the great community. Christmas was already today for me.

I belong to a middle class family. It is impossible for me to buy any 3D software. Nothing is available for free in this world these days, but Blender is the only thing that can be found for free in this world with so many features.
