LCD, 60hz and massive bezels on a 8 inch screen. No thanks

Switched from my 12.9 iPad Pro 5th gen to this little guy and I’m so happy. I literally only used my pro for procreate and for streaming. The size started getting to me though. Having to lug that thing around if I wanted to watch something was annoying. I’d have to have something supporting my arm if it was for anything longer than 10 minutes. And it was just heavy to hold. The mini a17 is a complete game change for me. I can chill and draw on the couch without having a whole rig setup to support the screen. Plus I can poop and read or watch something without it being as awkward. Is it the update the iPad mini needed? Probably not. It should probably have a lot more that went into it. But I do not regret my switch at all

The previous mini had a brand new iPhone chip in it, the new mini has a 13 month old iPhone chip in it. I think that's pretty disappointing. I'm also disappointed with the fact that they didn't slightly trim the bezels, or add a better display, like mini led or oled. But tbh, that's an apple move. They don't do oled, unless it's the high end iPad pro. That's why I love samsung more. They have got oled display on all of their tablets and also the same chip

I just use my 2021 purple mini as a kindle with the kindle app, far better than a kindle.

they literally took the old iPad mini and slapped a new chip on it and called it a day. When history looks back at these times, Apple will be seen as the greatest heist scam ever.

I can understand the iphone getting iterative updates but it has been three years since the last mini. Geez.

It's not about LCD or OLED, but the display of iPad mini is bad. I've used it & I prefer the LCD display of the Pixel Tablet over this garbage.
