Peloton Bike Featured in Another TV Heart Attack

And just like that…it happened again. Exercise equipment company Peloton is reeling from yet another PR disaster. This time, a character on the popular series “Billions” suffered a heart attack during a Peloton workout. If that sounds familiar, it's because just last month on the “Sex and the City” reboot, Mr. Big died of a heart attack following a vigorous Peloton workout. The company saw an 11% drop in their stock price after the episode. But at least on “Billions,” the character survived.

They could just not over exert themselves ….. the bike isn’t causing heart attacks! People ignoring their own bodies is causing heart attacks. The food, sleep patterns, and over doing physical activities.

Peloton helps peoples cardiovascular health. If you get a heart attack, its because you arent healthy, have previous problems, or were pushing it to the EXTREME.

While working in the ER years ago a guy literally rode his bike into the emergency room waiting area while having a heart attack. They can happen anytime and anywhere. Luckily this guy was aware enough and close enough to get somewhere quickly. He lived.

I believe that Peloton should be able to sue the shows that used their equipment for this purpose. Using equipment like Peloton bikes is GOOD for your heart! Can someone with heart disease have a heart attack using one? Yes, but then they could have a heart attack walking. Or even just sitting there. Eating food from places like McDonald's can cause heart disease. But I bet if someone saw a show where a person eating fast food had a heart attack, these junk food places wouldn't lose any business at all.

“Consult ur doctor before starting an strenuous exercise program” usually comes with a disclaimer for certain equipment or diet regimen. People probably have pre-existing conditions. I hope Pelaton wins their suit.
