I wanted to add, as of 2024 (idk how long this was made available), Peloton now offers used bike information summaries so if you can get someone to give you the serial number, it will tell you when it was purchased and if any repairs were made!

I got my original bike two months ago for 950 on Craigslist. The seller threw in two pairs of shoes and a heart rate monitor. It’s in perfect condition. However, the Peloton Black Friday sale caught my eye so I ended up ordering the bike plus and used my bike as a trade in. Peloton gives you 700 for the trade in. I’m happy.

If a buyer asked me to do all that I'd just move on to the next buyer honestly

So with your strategy of getting the previous owner to buy the extended warranty, would the previous owner need to call into Upsie to get any parts fixed/replaced when something brakes?

We got a Bike + for $1000. My warranty is, I can buy another one and still have $500 left if it breaks, and I don't have to deal with getting something fixed with Peloton or their 3rd party clown show
